ScamScreener is designed to keep you safe while you are distraced, by people trying to scam you.

How does ScamScreener work?

When a player sends a message into the chat, the mod reads it and compares it against its locally stored rules and weights. The Message reaches the Detection Pipeline and from here each Step adds Points to the message from 0 to 100. Above a certain threshold you'll receive a warning that this message might be kinda sus.

Does ScamScreener learn?

Yeah kind of. But only if you, the community participate. The Mod uses Cases to identify Scam Behavior over several messages. You can manually share them to the ScamScreener Hub where only the messages and the pipeline results gets stored and bundled to improve the rulesets. The Mod does not know any Player Names or UUIDs This is not an LLM or AI.
